To make the perfect cup of tea, start with a preheated pot or cup (simply fill your teapot or cup with very hot water and let it stand for a moment). Use fresh, cold water, and bring it to a rolling boil. Don't let it boil too long! It will boil away the flavor and result in a flat-tasting cup of tea. Pour boiling water on the tea leaves or tea bag. Brew for 3-5 minutes. For green teas, your water should be a bit cooler, and only steep for 1 to 3 minutes.

"Boba" Tea:
Most of the time, if you find something chewy in your drink, it's time to get a new glass. Not this time! Boba tea, or "black pearl" or "bubble" tea, originated in Taiwan nearly two decades ago.
